Charcoal Drawings
The Charcoal Drawings are spiritual, emotive works of art which evolve from an ability to sense and release energy onto the paper. Each image is created from meditations focused on the essence of energy. From these works several series of work have evolved. A selection from these series has been presented here.

Gateway
The Initial Series of Charcoal Drawings which began in 1998.
All images in this series are 23.5" X 18"
Cocooning
Each image in this series was rendered after sitting in meditation.
Opening
While in meditation the energy around me was felt and executed
onto paper using Charcoal.
Radiance
Each image in this series relates to energetic forms on the Matrix.
Vibescape
Black Clay fired Cone with mixed media including
garlic vines, wire, glass cabaochons and beads
6 2.5' X 4'. Collaborative work with Rae Hunter a
basketry and multimedia artist from Alberta, where
the mask currently resides.
Sunna
After creating this image I found there is a Sun Goddess by this
name and thus renamed it Sunna’s Mirror.

Cone of Power
When this series was created I was living in
Thailand, a vortex energy spot.
Journey Over
These images reflect the calm and sense of peace I felt when
I returned back to Canada in 2000.
Tilt
The Vortex Series were created from
meditations on large rocks on a mountain
which the locals called Crystal Mountain.
Rebirthing
I seemed to have brought home through my artwork and way
of being the simplicity of Thailand
Titanium
The energy on the mountain these images were
created from was spinning rapidly, sometimes
in different directions.
Taking Flight
Images in this series were about returning home to Canada after
living abroad for a few years.
Vortex Tunnel
Each rendering came from a 10-20 minute meditation and was
rendered within minutes.

Vessel
After living in Thailand I returned home to Canada and began this.
Rigid Flow
The energy lines seem to hold the image shapes together.
Pod Layers
The forms and shapes of the plants were not relevant to any in
the space.
Blooming Pod
In meditation I welcomed the energetic patterns of plants.
